Popular Truro art company plays host to charity auction
A unique collection of modern and contemporary art from local, regional and international artists will go up for auction on 5 October at Truro Arts Company.
The event, organised by and in aid of Merlin MS Centre has secured work kindly donated from over 40 artists in a variety of mediums. Artists include Turner Prize nominee, David Tremlett, Stella Vine, John Brenton, Sean Hewitt, Joe Armstrong, Carl Brenders and Patrick Hughes.
Public viewing of featured artwork will be on display at Truro Arts,26 River St, Truro TR1 2SJ for three weeks prior to auction night. Entry to Truro Arts Company is free of charge.
The evening will be led by Auctioneer, Philp Buddell and there will be the option of in person, sealed and telephone bidding.
Entrance is £5.00 and includes a catalogue, canapes and a complementary glass of fizz on arrival from 6.30pm onwards.
With such a vast amount of work on offer this event will provide exciting bidding for collectors at all level.

The Merlin MS Centre’s charitable aim is to provide subsidised therapy for people who are affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) however, anyone living with a neurological condition who feels they can benefit from the therapies and support offered are welcome.
The purpose-built facilities provide; clinical therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration, exercise classes and podiatry, a range of health and wellbeing therapies as well as respite, counselling and outreach services. The Centre also offers a transport service covering most of the County.
