Oxygen Treatment

Oxygen Therapy is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurised environment. This can benefit a range of health conditions such as MS but including; ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Polymyalgia, Parkinsons, Stroke, Autism, Cerebal Palsy, Cancer, Leg Ulcers/Wound Healing, Fibromyalgia and various sports injuries.

Treatments are tailored to alleviate each person's individual symptoms. Most clients will benefit from a full course of Oxygen Therapy -where 100% oxygen is delivered in a chamber which has been pressurized to the equivalent of a fixed depth below sea level, substantially increasing the absorption of the oxygen into the bloodstream.

 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Where it is not appropriate for someone to be in a pressurised environment, people can benefit from a simple oxygen session -breathing 100% oxygen through a mask.

Oxygen therapy can also be used in treatments to accelerate the body’s natural healing responses. For example, many professional sports facilities now include this therapy as a means of reducing the recovery period following an injury or certain kinds of surgery.
