“It's not all about the money”

As a person with M.S I have now realised something. It is easy for people to define you.  They often see you as " that woman with M.S"  The Merlin MS Centre gave me back my identity. I began to feel good about myself once again and wanted to give something back. So I decided to throw myself out of a perfectly good airplane! I am terrified of heights, so it was a real challenge out of my comfort zone.  Sponsor money came rolling in, the sky dive booking made with Skydive Buzz and I was all set. I have nothing but praise for the whole team at Skydive Buzz in Honiton. They gave me so much encouragement and confidence that failure wasn't an option. They even filmed the whole thing for me on a DVD! So, up to 15.000 feet, tandem freefall followed by a rather elegant landing , if I do say so myself !  So, what did I achieve ? Over £1,200 for the charity and a priceless personal achievement.

As I said,  it's not all about the money.
